About Us

I grew up in Cherokee County. I started doing landscaping and lawn maintenance in High School during the summer. I enjoyed working outside and decided to continue living in Cherokee county while going to college for horticulture. I had very humble beginnings and founded Classey Landscapes & Irrigation in 2004.

I built my company on moral values. I treated every customer how I would like to be treated. With great communication, good service and unmatched quality, not only living up to my commitments but delivering more than they expected and even more than I promised. With highly skilled technique, using the best products, and always leaving customer lawns looking immaculate so they could tell we had been there.

I believed what people thought about me and my work was far more important than making money. First and foremost, I wanted them happy with every aspect of the job — including the price they paid. As a result of this policy, I have always had very happy customers, willing to tell their friends, neighbors and associates about us. Even to this day some 21 years later, we have never had a full- or even part-time salesperson. Or even advertised other than a small yellow page presence so people could find us. That being said, at CLI we know things constantly are evolving, not only the irrigation industry its self with all the smart technology. But also with how our customers want to do business. We know now that word of mouth is being replaced with search engines and google reviews. That’s ok, to us it’s all about the same thing it has been for 21 years: providing products and services on your terms, delivering more than expected and total customer satisfaction.
